A day in your life!
In this role you will support the Business with all kind of desktop support and other day-to-day tasks. You will be part of an international team with colleagues from the EMEA region. You will have great opportunities to develop both your personal and professional skills. The job tasks will include:

  • Standard installation and deployment of laptops
  • Handling Desktop hardware and software
  • Daily support of users
  • Troubleshooting on Laptops, iPad’s and Mobile phones
  • All kind of IT related day-to-day tasks
  • Administration and documents

Personal skills:

It is important that you are service minded, flexible and like to work in a fast-moving environment supporting some of the newest technologies. You must be a team player and have a good sense of humor.

You are currently studying your bachelor’s degree (3rd year) or your master’s degree (1st year) and have minimum two year left of your studies. 

As you will become part of an international organization with offices around the globe and need to contact people from many cultures.  You should have good collaboration skills and be proficient in verbal/written English.

  • This is a Student assistant position for approx.  1 year

United nations looking for Javascript developers - Home based- Occasional travel to Geneva



The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is seeking talented and creative individuals to contribute to the development and maintenance of its online applications (HPC.tools). Within OCHA, the Assessment, Planning and Monitoring Branch (APMB) is responsible for helping OCHA’s network of country offices and humanitarian partners to implement the humanitarian programme cycle (HPC). APMB, in partnership with OCHA’s Information Services Branch (ISB) is engaged in a multi-year transformation project to improve the suite of information management tools/systems and that support the HPC. This includes data management applications for project submission and review, monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian response, and financial tracking, amongst others. These applications are developed on a Javascript stack using PostgreSQL, Node.js, AngularJS and Angular, and provide data to a public API and two Drupal websites: Financial Tracking Service (fts.unocha.org) and Humanitarian InSight (hum-insight.info). 
The successful candidate will be working as a developer in a small team of both senior and junior backend and frontend developers, and will work either as a full stack developer or (depending on skillsets) with a particular emphasis on frontend or backend work. In addition to programming, the successful candidate may also be involved in the coordination and oversight of the developer team or members thereof, as well as contribute to sprint and release planning. While the position is home-based, occasional travel to Geneva, Switzerland might be required. The successful candidate will report to the Information Systems Officer, Monitoring Platforms and Tools Section (MATS), in Geneva and work collaboratively with colleagues in OCHA Headquarters locations, as well as other developers working on this and other OCHA projects.

    Responsibilities :

    Interact with customers, providing top-notch customer service
    Protect the health of our plants by applying basic plant protection measures and keeping the farms squeaky-clean
    Report on harvest records and plant issues using our internal infarm app
    Report on customer feedback and compensation needs according to infarm guidelines
    Ensure daily invoicing of infarm customers
    Maintain current marketing materials on farms in customer locations
    Perform basic maintenance of farms when needed
    Follow workflow and schedule
    Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety legislation and guidelines

    Requirements :

    • Valid drivers license and working visa
    • Fluent in English and Danish
    • A passion for plants, sustainability or nutrition
    • Strong attention to detail and a good eye and caring for cleanliness
    • Both confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
    • Experience working in a retail environment or in customer service is an asset
