AltaPay are looking for an ambitious and driven individual who has previously been employed by an online retailer in the capacity of Payments Manager or Head of Ecommerce, depending on size and scope of the business. A commercially minded yet tech savvy professional you will be accountable for the management and optimisation of the payment setup for AltaPay’s largest merchants, many of them popular brands in the fashion retail sector.
Job description:
- To work in a closely knit growth focused organisation, with an exceptional product
- Be responsible for the ongoing management and optimisation of the payment relationship between AltaPay and its largest and most valuable merchant partners
- Maintain and develop commercial relationships with key merchant stakeholders, to ensure they are well informed of all options relating to Altapay’s platform and the technical setup
- Analyse and consult on payment methods, FX, anti-fraud options and other 3rd party services offered by AltaPay; in line with merchants digital commerce strategy and business goals
- As an expert, push for best practice with respect payment flows to help drive online sales growth and ensure online transactions are as frictionless as possible
- By helping to achieve the optimal commercial relationship and technical integration, drive incremental revenues across the merchant portfolio.
- Work closely with internal product, technical support and sales teams to help foster a common understanding of platform capabilities and best practices
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure smooth merchant handover and outbound communications
- Assist AltaPay’s product development teams to understand merchant requirements; helping to determine forward platform strategy and supported by developed business cases
- Both domestic and international travel will be required
Your Qualities:
- Experience in Ecommerce/Payments management for an international retailer/likeminded business, with proven ability to accelerate sales growth and optimise processes
- 360 degree view of ecommerce, with exposure to both front and back end development
- Be an expert in payments, fraud and associated technologies
- An interest and up to date knowledge of news and current affairs relevant to both the payment industry and that of our connected merchants
- A highly motivated individual focused on improving merchant conversion rates and online sales growth, and by doing so bringing additional incremental revenues to AltaPay
- An excellent communicator, ideally with international experience
- Excellent analytical skills; able to interpret data to make actionable recommendations
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and commercial acumen
- Extremely organised with excellent project management skills
- The highest level of presentation and documentation skills
- Strong work ethic, with a determination to learn and succeed
- Languages; Fluency in English is a must, with bonus points for professional proficiency in any other European language(s)
