Forum & Community Developer

A position as Forum and Community Developer is now open for a highly qualified and motivated professional who is ready to make a significant contribution to expanding the leading game development tool provider for high-end web 3D, online, MMO and mobile games.
We're looking for a seasoned web developer to drive the development of our online community. We are one of the world's leading game technology developers and we're looking for someone to take our trait of technical excellence and extend that onto our user communities in the web sphere.
Goals and responsibilities: 
  • Drive our user forum to be a strong platform for knowledge exchange and geek hangout
  • Extend our forum with new tools for sharing and collaboration
  • Implement the backend tools to power the above
  • Make tools for the daily user management
Requirements:
  • Brilliant Perl or Ruby-on-Rails skills
  • Strong sense of web 2.0 development
  • Great respect for design and usability
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with online community development and complex data driven websites
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX libraries, social network APIs, the works
  • Strong feeling for CSS, web design
  • Some experience with PHP, Photoshop, Linux servers ...everything helps!
