Do you want to develop a state of the art operator interface affecting thousands of installations and users world-wide? The primary user interface of the Milestone VMS is a rich client application incorporating advanced up-to-date features while maintaining ease of use and integration possibilities. Our development team in Copenhagen is looking for a passionate software developer with a special interest in this area. Development is mainly in C# on the newest .Net platform using tools and technologies like WPF, Visual Studio 2012/2013 and TFS.
At Milestone Systems knowledge sharing and teamwork is in focus, so you will furthermore be contributing to the ongoing development of our high quality software development processes, and you will have a broad range of contact to other teams such as Test, Support, Technical Communications and Product Management
In your daily work, you will
Design and build new product features
Develop technical insight into relevant technology areas
Plan and prioritize your own work
Get your code reviewed and review the code of other developers
Actively contribute to best practices to enhance quality and team performance
Effectively respond to customer input and evaluate risk and cost of bug fixes
Think quality and testability into code
Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Masters or Ph.D. highly desired
Solid experience with C# and the .NET framework
Experience and deep interest in developing GUI applications using WPF
Experience with MVVM, object oriented design and multithreading
Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and TFS is an advantage
Proficiency in English
Analytical and at the same time holistic approach to new solutions/technologies
