We are looking for trainees to join us beginning of May or August 2017.
As a shipping trainee at Weco Shipping we offer you an intensive two year program consisting of both theoretical and practical training. As a part of your education you will participate in the commercial shipping.
Program facilitated by the Danish Shipping Academy. The training is conducted in English and will include maritime law, maritime economics, ship knowledge and negotiation & communication skills.
You will gain practical experience from the day-to-day work at our Rungsted-office. From day one you will be assigned a mentor who will guide and supervise you throughout your education. We believe that consistent challenges and personal responsibility are keywords to your success, however this requires hard work, drive and dedication on your part. We have a fun and relaxed working environment where each person contributes to the company by being actively involved, showing commitment, respect and being helpful.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for candidates who have:
• A high school education or HHX with an average of minimum 7.0 (7-point grading
scale) or a bachelor degree
• B-level math
• Good English communication skills
• A certain level of Independence through living, studying or working abroad, military etc.
• An open minded team spirit with excellent social abilities
• The will to invest in a demanding education
