• The Account Manager generates sales of IT-Security solutions in named accounts and in an assigned geographic territory. The ideal candidate will have experience with contacting and visiting existing and prospective customers. They will also be involved in building and maintaining a network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. They expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the Account Manager should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. The Account Manager must have a basic understanding of the networking and security market space (including application security solutions, FW/IPS, VPN, Identity Management, etc). You will be a flexible, self motivated, team player who possesses excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skills. You will have excellent business skills and a strong of the competitive landscape within the security industry. You will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.


Major Responsibilities
• Establish relationships with Accounts and Prospect clients
• Responsible for a list of existing accounts within the assigned market segment
• Developing accounts/ new projects.
• Developing strong relationships with key accounts executives in the region
• Drive and own the Sales process with our partner
• Demonstrate and present at our IT-Security solutions to end users executives
• Drive a portfolio of 25-30 named accounts
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business
• Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
• Timely opportunity and pipeline management by using tools that accurately represents sales stage
• Preparation of forecast monthly/quarterly including weekly updates
• Reports to the Country Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.


Desired Background & Experience:
• 1-5 years outside sales experience
• Strong hunter within the network IT-Security/Networking area
• Strong results orientated achiever used to Sales Strategies and value propositions.
• Hunting skills/background
• Successful selling IT-Security Solutions
• Solution selling background (TCO/ROI based approach)
• Channel management experience or knowledge to be a plus
• Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
• Self-motivated, presentation skills, goal-oriented and strong time management skills
• High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
